Day 1: Arrival Stockholm
Arrive at Arlanda Airport for a meet-and-greet by a Nordic Visitor representative who will take you to your centrally located hotel in Stockholm. If you arrive early, we recommend getting the Stockholm Card, which gives you access to most museums in Stockholm, the Stockholm underground and local buses.

Day 2: Fishing for northern pike
Start the day with a boat ride out of the city combined with some sightseeing. Today we will concentrate on northern pike and spinning in the Värtan area. For lunch, enjoy a nice picnic in the Kyrkviken bay. Afterwards, we will fish our way out to the island Vaxholm, with its bustling harbor, beautiful waterfront homes and scores of cafés, arts- and crafts shops.
Check in at Hotel Waxholm where the beautiful setting offers fantastic views over the bay Vaxholmsfjärden and the ancient Kastellet fortress, dating back to 1560. During the evening you will enjoy a fantastic three course dinner at the hotel restaurant.

Day 3: Spin fishing perch with rubber bait
After breakfast, you will be picked up at Hotel Waxholm for a day of spin fishing for perch with rubber bait and an enjoyable picnic lunch. In the evening we will take the boat to Great Löknäsholmen – a private island for a delicious dinner ”al fresco” followed by a relaxing retreat to a wood- heated sauna and pine tree Jacuzzi. Afterwards, you will be escorted back to Hotel Waxholm for a night of well deserved sleep.

Day 4: Trying out different fishing techniques
Today we will venture further out into the center of the archipelago. The weather and wind conditions will determine our most favorable spot where you will try out some different fishing techniques such as spin fishing, vertical jigging and jerk fishing. Also on today’s agenda is visit the picturesque island of ”Möja” for an pleasant lunch. Afterwards, we will begin our journey back to Stockholm. The rest of the afternoon and evening is free to explore the city at your leisure.

Day 5: Departure
Today you be travel via the Arlanda Express to the airport for your journey back home. If you are departing on the afternoon flight, you may want to take the time to explore the amazing Old Town with its narrow alleys and beautiful medieval houses, Otherwise you can use the opportunity to do some last minute shopping, visit a museum, or just wind down at a local café before heading home from your fishing adventure.
