Introduction
This action filled break will give you the opportunity to stay in a suite at the world-famous ICEHOTEL, experience traditional Sami culture, explore the amazing Northern Lights in the dark Lapland nights and and learning to drive a dogsled. All of the activities are led by your private guide who will give make sure you get an adventure of a lifetime.
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival / Stockholm
On arrival, you will be met by your private chauffeur, who will transfer you from the airport to your luxury hotel in Stockholm. After settling in at the hotel, you will be taken on a private guided tour of Stockholm to give you a taste of what the capital of Sweden has to offer in terms of art and design, culture, shopping and gourmet dining. Stay the night in a suite at one of Stockholm’s luxury hotels.
Day 2: Stockholm - Kiruna, ICEHOTEL and Quest for the Northern Lights
Your private chauffeur will pick you up and take you to the Arlanda Airport for your flight to Kiruna, where you will be met and transferred to the ICEHOTEL. Check in to your very own ice suite in this exotic hotel. In the evening, your personal guide will take you on a journey out into the wild, to explore the amazing Northern Lights on a guided snowmobile trip. After a delicious dinner, you head into the night again to return to the hotel. * Please note that the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and a sighting of them cannot be guaranteed.
Day 3: Husky Sled Ride
In the afternoon, a skilled musher will pick you up for a thrilling husky sled experience. You will learn to drive your own dog team of four dogs through the breathtaking Lapland landscape. During the break, around the fire, you will be served coffee and sandwiches.
Stay the night in warm accommodation at the ICEHOTEL or Hotel Ferrum.
Day 4: Kiruna, Lapland - Stockholm
Check out of the hotel and transfer to Kiruna for your return to the Arlanda Airport, where you will be picked up by your chauffeur and transferred to your hotel in Stockholm. Stay the night in a suite at the luxury Grand Hotel or Strand Hotel.
Day 5: Departure
Your personal chauffeur will transfer you from Stockholm to the Arlanda Airport. If your departure flight is in the
afternoon, you will have time for some last-minute shopping, a perfect way to end your holiday.
