Everything was well prepared and organized. The rental car and accommodations exceeded our expectations.The dinners were wonderful and the hotel hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Cecelia was always available to answer questions. We had a remarkable time and the tour and also reserved extra accommodations for us as we didn't start the tour at the Arlanda airport but came by train from Gothenburg. We were so pleased to have travelled through the Swedish countryside and this was the best part of our time in Sweden!

While I suppose most people are interested in the large cities, we generally prefer smaller towns like Vadstena. I am not sure you could fashion a "small town," or "country" tour, but after Stockholm we much preferred the smaller towns. This was our second trip with Nordic Visitor, the first being Iceland two years ago. We loved both and have recommended Nordic Visitor to a number of our friends. Well done.

Just wanted to let you know how much I appreciated your help & handling of my Stockholm city break last month - everything was just perfect, in fact, so much more than I expected! I loved the Adlon Hotell (could just live there - charming - and so close by walking to everything) but my favorite portion of the trip was the boat trip to Birka Island - just a lovely late summer day out on the water & the island itself so beautiful and quiet, the Viking burials and the walking tour, etc., all just fascinating. So, thanks again for your assistance with my trip; I have been recommending Nordic Visitor to all!

All of our hotels were much higher quality than we would have booked ourselves. They were wonderful and the breakfasts were fabulous. The personnel were so friendly and often went out of their way to help. We appreciated the markings on the maps. The only bit of complaint we had was that the young man at the car rental did not give very good directions to the car garage. It was hard for my husband to walk that far. We should have called a taxi. The GPS in the car gave good directions. My husband was not used to the gas saving engine shut off and he thought there was something wrong with the car. I presumed it was to save gas, and he finally got used to it. The best part was that we found where my grandparents had lived and were born. Thank you for giving us extra time in the locations where we needed to hunt. 

Thanks for all your answers ahead of time and for working out the details. The trip was wonderful and the adventure of a lifetime for our age.

The high-light of our European adventure was the week in Sweden doing the self-drive tour that you had arranged for us (Stockholm & a Slice of the Countryside).  Everything in the tour was absolutely perfect from the transfer arrangements to the car and hotel accommodations and the tour format itself. I would highly recommend it to anyone! Thank you very much for all that you did to make this part of our holiday so enjoyable - even the weather cooperated.

Jennie was absolutely TERRIFIC in providing prompt service and information. A great ASSET to your organization!!! The ability of Scandinavian people to communicate in English greatly enhanced our travel experience in Sweden!! I highly recommend that all travel/tourist brochures/websites/media highlight this.
